Description An established Investment Bank in the City are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Derivatives Business Analyst to work on a high profile, interesting project work stream. [b][u]Experience required: [/u][/b]
  • IT and Business Change Management and/or related Project Management experience.
  • Experience of Derivative focused Operations and related Technology.
  • A range of experience of analysis, matrix management and problem resolution is desirable.
  • Experience of one or more business product areas and support functions is essential.
  • Specific experience of implementation management is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work within, and provide support to, a variety of functions within the programme team.
  • Knowledge of an established project management methodology.
  • Knowledge of business process mapping is desirable.
  • Preparedness to work at a hands-on and strategic level as required.
[b][u]The role Requirements: [/u][/b]
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Analyse and document impact of the project on product-specific business functions, systems and client / transaction data.
  • Develop and own the product-specific plan and approach to segregation, transition and separation activities.
  • Manage and co-ordinate all necessary business and technology activities to support segregation, transition and separation.
  • Track & mitigate.
  • Meet regularly with the Programme Manager to ensure delivery commitments are tracked, managed and controlled.
  • Business Analysis - analyse and document the scope and scale of the projects impact on the specific product area and transaction processing systems, in terms of segregation, transition and separation (included in this, specific requirements to support transitional business and technology services).
  • Data analysis - working with GBM data population provided, identify The project and "retain" client account and transaction records on relevant transaction processing systems, and create a repeatable process for this.
  • Design - working with the product area line staff, technology representatives and the GBM Project Architect, devise product-specific approach for segregation, transition and separation, including - if required - the provision of transitional business services and technology.
  • Planning - working with the GBM Project Architect, product area and technology reps, develop detailed product-specific implementation plans, which will form part of the central GBM implementation plans.
  • Reporting - provide progress and update information in line with agreed governance model and PMO requirements, and provide information required by GBM Project to support cross-product design work.
  • Other - act as a subject matter expert for the transactional scope, physical segregation, transition and separation approach for the product area.
